A skateboarder was crossing eastbound at the intersection when a car turned from westbound Lee into the intersection and either collided with or caused the skateboarder to fall. The driver was apparently using a cell phone at the time of the accident. The driver contacted the victim and offered the victim a ride and offered to give the victim money. The driver is described as a white or Hispanic female with dark hair and dark eyes. She is believed to be in her late 20s to early 30s and is approximately 5-06 to 5-07 in height and about 120 pounds. Any information or witnesses to the collision should contact Corporal Erik Lundquist at the Richland Police Department at 942-7716.
