Richland Police Investigate Gun Burglaries

The Richland Police Department is investigating two burglaries where multiple firearms were stolen. The first occurred February 2 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM in the 1400 block of Duportail St. In that incident force was used to enter the home, the house was ransacked and 4 weapons were stolen. The missing guns include a .38 caliber pistol, a .22 caliber pistol, a 30.06 caliber rifle and a 10 gage shotgun.

The second burglary occurred between February 3 and 4. No force was used to enter the residence on Clermont Drive. During this burglary 7 guns were taken including 2 rifles, 3 shotguns and 2 pistols.

Both burglaries have been assigned to detectives. If anyone has any information concerning the missing firearms they are asked to contact Richland Police at 509-628-0333.
