Scam Alert

The Richland Police Department has received several calls today in reference to a well known scam.  Individuals are receiving telephone calls allegedly from the IRS.  The number provided is 585-444-7053 x2.  People who call the number are put forward to a voicemail and the majority of times its a males voice that has a heavy accent.  When you leave your name and number someone calls you back and requests your personal information.
