Level 2 Sex Offender Notification

Address:  2000 Block Stevens Drive, Richland

Convictions:  Promoting Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor, 2011

According to official documents, Salsbury recruited and employed multiple minor aged females from local high schools for both stripping and prostitution.  Salsbury knew the females to be minors.  Salsbury directly advertised, coordinated, arranged and received money from
adult clients in exchange for their sexual contact with the minor females.  Salsbury used threats and coercion as a means of controlling and manipulating the minor females into continuing work for her.

Recent events involving Salsbury presenting as a "motivational speaker" at a local high school caused her level rating to be raised from a Level 1 to a Level 2.  Salsbury is currently under Department of Corrections and Federal Supervision.  Salsbury is trespassed from all parks, schools, libraries and their grounds in Benton and Franklin Counties.

Accident: Motorcycle vs. Pedestrian


On 03/13/2015 at 0645 hours (AM) the Richland Police Department responded to an injury accident on VanGiesen St near Alder Ave. A Harley Davidson motorcycle was being ridden west on VanGiesen St by a 35 year old Richland man when it struck a pedestrian in the westbound lane of travel. The pedestrian, an 85 year old Richland woman, was not in a crosswalk and was knocked to the pavement. The pedestrian received injuries to the head, face, and chest area and was transported to Kadlec Medical Center by a Richland Ambulance. The motorcycle injuries were minor and he remained at the scene of the accident. Speed did not appear to be a factor according to an independent witness, however, it was still dark outside when the accident occurred.

The pedestrian was identified as 85 year old Laverne Weissenfels of Richland.

The motorcycle rider was identified as 35 year old Robert D. Turner of Richland

The accident is being investigated by Detective Damon Jansen who is a Collision Reconstructionist.
