Vehicle Pursuit

Arrested: Richard Linderman (39 year old male) Kennewick Resident


Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Attempting to Elude Police


On July 04, 2011 at about 02:15 A.M. a Richland Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Fowler Street in Richland. During the traffic stop the driver, later identified as Richard Linderman, suddenly restarted his car and fled from the officer and a pursuit ensued.


Linderman fled onto Highway 240 toward Richland and then onto East bound Interstate 182. Linderman was apprehended by Richland Police Officers at the KOA Campground on St. Thomas Drive in Pasco after a short foot pursuit. Evidence indicating Linderman had illegal drugs in his vehicle was located. A Search Warrant for the car Linderman was driving was obtained and drug paraphernalia and the drug Methamphetamine was located.


Linderman was booked into the Benton County Jail on the above listed charges.
